Roles & Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and BOQs for interior fit-out and joinery projects.

2. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

3. Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.

4. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and pricing.

5. Prepare cost comparison sheets and maintain updated pricing databases.

6. Support the Estimation Manager/Senior Estimator in tender submissions and bid preparations.

7. Analyze project scope and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

8. Assist in preparing material quantities, labor costs, and project budgets.

9. Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams for technical clarifications.

10. Maintain estimation records, tender logs, and project cost data.

11. Ensure all estimates are completed within submission deadlines.

12. Support post-tender negotiations and project handover to the execution team.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

2. 1–3 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or cost control within the interior fit-out, joinery, or construction industry.

3. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or fit-out project exposure may also be considered.

4. Knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation principles.

5. Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and construction drawings.

6. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.

7. Familiarity with interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods is preferred.

8. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

9. Good communication and coordination abilities.

10. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tender submission deadlines.

12. UAE experience is preferred but not mandatory.

13. Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
