Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Efficiently scan and bag groceries, ensuring accuracy and speed to minimize customer wait times.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions with precision, providing correct change and receipts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, replenishing supplies and ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Engage customers in friendly conversation, answering questions about products, promotions, and store layout.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, demonstrating a foundational level of education.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a retail or supermarket environment.
  • Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems, with a knack for quick learning of new technology.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
