1 Job Title: Head of Architectural Design Consultancy- Profit Sharing Role
Position Overview
The Head of Architectural Design Consultancy leads the architectural division, overseeing design strategy, concept development, project delivery, and client engagement. The role ensures creative excellence, regulatory compliance, technical accuracy, and alignment with commercial objectives. This is not a traditional role—it's an entrepreneurial profit-sharing partnership with no fixed salary.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and manage the architectural design team.
Develop the consultancy’s design vision and technical standards.
Set design quality benchmarks and ensure innovation across projects.
Contribute to business development and strategic growth plans.
Design Oversight
Oversee concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and tender documentation.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.
Approve design submissions, drawings, and specifications.
Lead design reviews and technical coordination meetings.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary design representative to clients and investors.
Present design concepts to executive stakeholders and boards.
Build strong relationships with developers, contractors, and consultants.
Project Management
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timeline.
Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape consultants.
Monitor quality assurance across all architectural deliverables.
Regulatory & Authority Coordination
Oversee submissions to municipalities and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with planning laws, building codes, sustainability standards.
Business Development
Support proposal preparation and tender submissions.
Participate in pitching and securing new projects.
Enhance the consultancy’s brand positioning and market reputation.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
Master’s Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or related field preferred.
Professional licensure or registration with relevant authority.
Experience
12–20 years of progressive architectural experience.
Minimum 5–8 years in senior leadership or design director role.
Experience handling large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
GCC/UAE authority approval experience highly preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of architectural design principles and construction methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and design visualization software.
Strong understanding of sustainability and green building standards.
Knowledge of international building codes and local regulations.

IMPORTANT: This position has no fixed base salary. It is a profit-sharing entrepreneurial role where compensation is directly tied to the commercial success and growth of the consultancy division.
