Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of irrigation systems, optimizing water usage for maximum crop yield and sustainability.
• Manage and troubleshoot agricultural machinery and equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and minimal downtime through proactive maintenance.
• Develop and implement soil health management strategies, including nutrient analysis and amendment plans, to enhance crop productivity and long-term soil vitality.
• Apply principles of agronomy and crop science to advise on optimal planting, cultivation, and harvesting techniques tailored to local conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and implement sustainable farming practices to minimize ecological impact.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing agricultural infrastructure and irrigation systems.
• Strong understanding of soil science, crop physiology, and sustainable farming practices.
• Experience with farm automation technologies and precision agriculture techniques is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex agricultural challenges.
