Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Develop, monitor, and update project schedules for multiple interior fit-out and joinery projects using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

  2. Prepare baseline programs, recovery schedules, look-ahead plans, and project progress reports.

  3. Track project progress against approved schedules and identify delays, risks, and critical activities.

  4. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Design, and Commercial teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.

  5. Monitor procurement activities, material deliveries, shop drawing approvals, and site execution progress against planned schedules.

  6. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and clients.

  7. Develop and maintain a centralized dashboard to monitor and present the progress of multiple ongoing projects in a single view.

  8. Analyze project performance, identify schedule variances, and recommend corrective actions to minimize delays.

  9. Conduct delay analysis and prepare recovery plans to bring projects back on track.

  10. Participate in project review meetings and provide planning and scheduling updates to stakeholders.

  11. Ensure accurate progress measurement, reporting, and documentation across all assigned projects.

  12. Support tender planning, resource forecasting, and project handover activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer within the Interior Fit-Out and Joinery industry.

  3. Interior Fit-Out experience is mandatory.

  4. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Excel.

  5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and present project progress through a centralized dashboard.

  6. Strong understanding of project scheduling, project controls, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.

  7. Experience in preparing baseline schedules, recovery plans, and management reports.

  8. Ability to interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and contracts.

  9. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  10. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  11. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

  12. UAE experience will be an added advantage.

  13. Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.


Candidates must demonstrate the ability to create and manage a centralized dashboard showing the real-time progress, status, delays, critical activities, and completion forecasts of multiple interior fit-out projects simultaneously.
