Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) on critical components and welds, ensuring adherence to stringent industry codes and standards.
  • Interpret complex PAUT data, identifying and characterizing flaws with exceptional accuracy to prevent potential failures.
  • Calibrate and maintain PAUT equipment, guaranteeing optimal performance and reliable inspection results.
  • Develop and validate PAUT procedures tailored to specific materials, geometries, and defect types.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a recognized NDT certification, such as PCN, ASNT Level II or III in PAUT, demonstrating a strong foundation in ultrasonic principles.
  • Hold a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in phased array ultrasonic testing within the oil & gas, aerospace, or power generation sectors.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) governing NDT inspections.
  • Exhibit proficiency in operating and interpreting data from various PAUT equipment manufacturers and software.
