JOB TITLE: INTERIOR DESIGN ESTIMATOR

REPORTING TO: ESTIMATION MANAGER

part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Interior Design Estimator to

join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

The Interior Design Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and

tender submissions for Interior design and fit-out works. The role requires strong

knowledge of construction materials, finishes, quantity take-o�s, and market pricing to

ensure commercially competitive and technically compliant bids.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.

• Analyze project requirements and prepare detailed quantity take-o�s.

• Prepare cost estimates for architectural finishes, fit-out works, joinery, doors, ceilings,

flooring, painting, cladding, waterproofing, and façade elements.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in accordance with client

requirements and deadlines.

• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving alternatives.

• Conduct risk assessments and incorporate contingencies where required.

• Prepare RFIs and coordinate technical clarifications with consultants and project

stakeholders.

• Maintain updated cost databases, supplier information, and historical project records.

• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, MEP, Procurement, and Project Management teams

during the tendering process.

• Support project handover activities and provide cost-related assistance during project

execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction

Management, or a related discipline.

• Additional qualifications in Estimation, Quantity Surveying, or Cost Management will be

an advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Interior Design estimation, quantity surveying, or

tendering within the construction industry.

• Experience in Interior Design fit-out, commercial, residential, hospitality, and mixed-use

developments.

• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.

• Data Center project experience will be considered a strong advantage.

• Strong knowledge of architectural finishes, fit-out works, and construction materials.

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, PlanSwift, CostX, Bluebeam, or similar

estimation software.

• Strong understanding of quantity take-o�s, cost estimation, and value engineering

principles.

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

• Data Center project experience highly preferred.
