Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping lines and freight forwarders to optimize costs and service levels.
Prepare and review all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues that may arise during transit, ensuring timely delivery.
Ensure all the raw material imports are reaching ontime without any disturbance to existing production plan
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
At least 8 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in International Trade or Customs Compliance is a strong advantage.
Experience in working with customs regulations and freight forwarding processes is essential.
Experience in working with Manufacturing company handling large volume of raw materials imports
