Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet industry standards and function efficiently under specified conditions.
- Conduct simulations and analyses using CAD software to predict product performance and identify potential design flaws before prototyping.
- Lead projects from concept through production, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
- Evaluate and select materials for projects by assessing their mechanical properties, cost, and availability, while considering environmental impact.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or working towards one, demonstrating commitment to ethical practices and professional development.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design or product development, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, with the ability to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
