We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager to lead and manage health, safety, and environmental practices within our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all safety regulations, promote a culture of safety, and minimize risks to personnel and the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee HSE policies and procedures tailored to construction site requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate safety training programs for all employees and subcontractors to maintain awareness and competence.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to legal and environmental standards.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by engaging with teams at all levels and encouraging incident reporting and prevention.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Proven experience as an HSE Manager, preferably within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction-related health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and promote a safety culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Relevant certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
