Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of desalination and seawater treatment plants, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in water production. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for critical plant equipment, minimizing downtime and costly repairs. Monitor water quality parameters in real-time, adjusting treatment processes to meet stringent regulatory standards and customer specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and engineering principles.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operating and maintaining industrial water treatment or desalination facilities.
Proven expertise in reverse osmosis (RO) and/or thermal desalination technologies is highly desirable.
Certification as a Certified Operator or equivalent from a recognized water quality association.
