Roles & Responsibilities
The Procurement Officer will source, negotiate, purchase, and track goods and services while maintaining supplier performance, cost control, and procurement compliance.
Key Responsibilities
· Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors, contractors, materials, equipment, and services.
· Obtain quotations, compare offers, negotiate terms, and prepare purchase orders.
· Track orders, delivery schedules, supplier performance, documentation, and procurement records.
· Coordinate with departments to understand purchasing needs and stock requirements.
· Resolve supply, quality, pricing, and delivery issues with vendors.
· Conduct market research and prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and savings updates.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing, or a related field.
· 2-5 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
· Strong negotiation, vendor management, ERP, Excel, and documentation skills.
· CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Digital & AI Capability
· Practical knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Midjourney, Cursor, Windsurf, Zapier or similar platforms is preferred.
· Candidates should be willing to use AI and automation to improve productivity, reporting, communication, and daily work processes.
