2. Role Overview We are looking for a Power System Engineer – MV/LV Distribution Networks, UAE to support Solution Mall’s technical communication, product selection, RFQ follow-up, and project implementation support for power distribution projects in the UAE. This role is suitable for professionals with experience in power systems, electrical engineering, MV/LV distribution networks, transformers, voltage stabilizers, switchgear, electrical panels, distribution substations, industrial electrical systems, building electrical systems, or electrical project implementation. The main focus is to understand project requirements, support product and system selection, coordinate technical information, assist RFQ and quotation discussions, and support implementation for MV/LV distribution network and substation-related projects. This is a technical engineering and project-support role focused on MV/LV distribution systems, transformers, stabilizers, switchgear, distribution panels, site coordination, and project execution support.
3. Key Responsibilities Support technical communication with customers, electrical contractors, consultants, engineering firms, distributors, suppliers, and project stakeholders in the UAE. Clarify project requirements related to MV/LV distribution networks, distribution substations, transformers, voltage stabilizers, switchgear, electrical panels, power cables, grounding, and protection systems. Assist in product selection, technical comparison, specification review, RFQ preparation, quotation coordination, and technical confirmation. Support project implementation coordination, including equipment selection, site requirements, installation conditions, testing needs, delivery schedules, and handover support. Follow up on project drawings, equipment lists, load requirements, voltage levels, site environment, budget expectations, and delivery timelines. Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, customers, contractors, and site teams to support project progress and issue resolution. Share market feedback on UAE electrical project requirements, preferred specifications, local standards, contractor habits, pricing levels, and project opportunities.
4. Qualifications Required2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:Power system engineering Electrical engineering MV/LV distribution networks MV/LV distribution substations Transformers or voltage stabilizers Switchgear or control cabinets Distribution panels or electrical cabinets Power cables and cable accessories Industrial or commercial electrical systems Electrical project implementation RFQ support or technical quotation coordination Ability to understand technical specifications, customer requirements, electrical application scenarios, product selection, RFQ follow-up, project documentation, and site implementation requirements. Good communication skills and ability to work with customers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, distributors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders. Working proficiency in English. Preferred Experience with UAE power system, electrical infrastructure, building electrical, industrial electrical, or utility-related projects Experience with MV/LV distribution equipment, transformers, voltage stabilizers, switchgear, electrical panels, grounding systems, or testing instruments Experience in site implementation, installation coordination, testing support, commissioning support, or project handover Familiarity with UAE electrical project workflows, local contractor resources, project approval processes, or site safety requirements Local electrician certificate, electrical license, or UAE-recognized electrical qualification is preferred Arabic communication ability is an advantage
