Hiring: Logistics Coordinator (12-Month Renewable Contract) Location: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Contract (12 months – renewable)


Adecco is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to support transportation planning and execution for a global client in Dubai. This role is critical in ensuring smooth shipment operations, on-time delivery, and efficient coordination across supply chain stakeholders.

Role Overview The Logistics Coordinator manages the execution of transportation plans and services. The role involves handling transportation requests, coordinating deliveries, selecting carriers, optimizing loads, and ensuring effective shipment tracking and execution.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional supply chain teams to optimize daily order and shipment planning Manage transportation activities including carrier selection, load optimization, and routing compliance Ensure shipments are executed efficiently using TMS and client systems for on-time, in-full delivery Track shipments and ensure timely pick-up and delivery performance Maintain freight estimates, logistics plans, and cost tracking accuracy Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics providers to meet service level objectives Monitor data flow between ERP, TMS, and WMS systems to ensure seamless operations Identify transportation capacity gaps and support planning solutions Drive carrier performance improvement through reporting and analysis Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics operations Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Project Management3–5 years of experience in logistics planning or transportation Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Strong understanding of supply chain processes and key performance indicators Excellent communication and coordination skills with stakeholders and vendors Ability to multitask and manage fast-paced operations Experience working in a multicultural environment

Preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain planning Attention to detail and ability to manage tight timelines
