Roles & Responsibilities

• Use advanced computerized diagnostic tools (OBD-II scanners, oscilloscopes, voltmeters) to accurately pinpoint electrical and electronic system failures.
• Troubleshoot faults within vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
• Repair, rebuild, or replace faulty alternators, starter motors, generators, ignition systems, and batteries.
• Install, route, and safely modify custom wiring harnesses, relays, fuses, and corporate accessories (such as GPS tracking systems, tail-lift electrics, and cabin controls).
• Service, test, and repair automotive Air Conditioning (A/C) electrical systems, climate control modules, and cooling fan circuits.
• Perform routine preventive electrical inspections across the fleet during regular service intervals to avoid unexpected road breakdowns.
• Inspect high-current commercial DC systems, ensuring all groundings and connections are insulated against high ambient desert heat.
• Strictly follow HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) workshop procedures, including safe disposal of batteries and proper handling of diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free electrical workstation.
• Accurately document all diagnosed faults, parts utilized, and repair times on workshop job cards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a certified equivalent technical qualification.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of solid hands-on experience as an Auto Electrician.

  Preferred: At least 2 years of experience within the Gulf region (UAE), showing familiarity with local parts sourcing and heat-resilient automotive electrical setups.

• Advanced understanding of 12V and 24V DC automotive electrical circuits.

• Ability to distinguish subtle wire color variations under detailed workshop lighting.

• Language: Basic proficiency in English (reading technical diagnostic codes and schematics is mandatory). Knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is an advantage for daily workshop coordination.

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all electronic and electrical systems within the company’s fleet of vehicles. This role ensures that all commercial, light, and specialized vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime while strictly complying with UAE road safety and transport standards.
