Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a driven, relationship-led Sales Manager to own and grow our Leisure & Hospitality vertical across the UAE. You will represent Bag the Future's full portfolio of sustainable packaging and branded eco-products to procurement managers, housekeeping heads, F&B directors, and retail buyers across hotels, resorts, restaurant chains, tourist attractions, and souvenir retail outlets. The ideal candidate brings an established network in the UAE hospitality and leisure industry, a consultative sales approach, and a genuine passion for sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Outdoor Sales & Business Development
Spend the majority of working hours in the field — visiting prospects & meeting decision-makers face-to-face across Dubai and the wider UAE.
Plan and execute a structured weekly call cycle covering hotels, resorts, restaurant outlets, tourist sites, and souvenir retail locations across assigned territories.
Identify, cold-call and convert new B2B accounts with a disciplined, on-the-ground prospecting approach — no lead is too cold if the potential is right.
Conduct in-person product demonstrations, sampling sessions, and sustainability briefings at client premises with procurement, housekeeping, F&B and retail stakeholders.
Build a healthy, stage-qualified sales pipeline and maintain accurate visit logs and forecasting through CRM.
Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned to divisional revenue targets, with a clear focus on conversion from first visit to signed account.
Account Management & Relationship Development
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high retention, repeat business, and share-of-wallet expansion.
Sales Cycle & Contract Management
Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and needs assessment through proposal, negotiation, contract signing, and post-sale onboarding.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements in line with company guidelines and margin targets.
Sustainability Consulting & Product Knowledge
Act as a trusted sustainability advisor — helping clients understand the environmental and brand value of transitioning to eco-friendly packaging and merchandise.
Stay current on sustainable packaging trends, UAE green initiatives, and hospitality sector sustainability commitments (e.g. Dubai Sustainable Tourism).
Collaborate with the product team to customize solutions — including branded merchandise, bespoke packaging designs, and co-branded eco-products — for individual client needs.
Educate procurement and operational stakeholders on material certifications, recyclability, and compliance with UAE environmental regulations.
Reporting & Market Intelligence
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets as set by the General Manager.
Submit weekly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and account status summaries via CRM.
Gather and relay market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging client needs to inform product and commercial strategy.
Track and report on KPIs including number of new accounts acquired, revenue per account, conversion rate, and pipeline value.
Desired Candidate Profile
3+ years of B2B outdoor / field sales experience supplying products or services directly to the hospitality and/or leisure sector in the UAE.
Existing, active relationships with procurement managers, housekeeping managers, F&B directors, or retail buyers across UAE hotels, resorts, tourist attractions, or souvenir retail — this is non-negotiable.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales targets in a field-based role.
Experience managing the full sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach through negotiation and contract close.
Familiarity with branded packaging, merchandise, disposables, or sustainable products is highly desirable.
Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
