Roles & Responsibilities
Business Intelligence Development
Design, develop, implement, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI and MicroStrategy.
Develop interactive dashboards, reports, scorecards, and management information solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly BI solutions.
Develop and maintain semantic layers, datasets, dimensions, metrics, and reporting structures.
Ensure BI solutions meet performance, usability, and governance standards.
Data Modelling & Reporting Architecture
Design and maintain enterprise data models to support Business Intelligence and reporting requirements.
Develop dimensional models, including star and snowflake schemas.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across reporting platforms.
Work closely with data engineering and technology teams to support data integration and reporting initiatives.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting frameworks and BI standards.
Requirements Analysis & Solution Delivery
Engage with business stakeholders to understand reporting and information requirements.
Analyse business needs and recommend appropriate BI solutions.
Convert complex requirements into practical and sustainable reporting solutions.
Support user acceptance testing, deployment activities, and post-implementation support.
Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and improve user experience.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions.
Provide guidance and support to users in the adoption of Business Intelligence solutions.

Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with:
o Microsoft Power BI
o MicroStrategy
o Data Modelling
o SQL
o Power Query
o DAX
o Business Intelligence Development
o Dashboard and Report Development
Strong understanding of:
o Data Warehousing Concepts
o Dimensional Modelling
o Star Schema and Snowflake Schema Design
o BI Architecture and Reporting Frameworks
o Data Governance and Reporting Best Practices
Business & Communication Skills
Strong business analysis and requirements gathering capability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Relevant Power BI or Business Intelligence certifications are advantageous.
Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
