Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and carry out plastic and composite repair and overhaul activities as assigned through approved task cards, compliance with operational and safety requirements.

  • Review task cards and work scope with Certifying Staff before commencing work, confirming documentation, priorities, and safety precautions.

  • Perform all maintenance using approved technical manuals, maintenance data, and company procedures.

  • Conduct work to the required standards, accurately identifying, recording, and reporting defects or damage.

  • Control and use of Proper tooling

  • Maintain effective communication with Certifying Staff, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth task execution, coordination, and clear handovers.

  • Strictly comply with GCAA regulations, Human Factors, FRMS, and published safety and maintenance procedures at all times, to protect self and others.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, upholding high housekeeping standards at all times.

  • Control resource usage — minimizing material/consumable wastage, preventing repeat work, and contributing to cost-effective and optimized repair practices.

  • Maintain traceability of consumables and materials used in accordance with approved procedures.

  • Work under pressure and within rotating shift patterns, as operationally required.

  • Carry out any additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager (MM), Quality Assurance Manager (QAM), or other authorized personnel.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma or Technical Qualification in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or equivalent.

  • Experience in an EASA/GCAA/FAA CAR 145 approved maintenance organization is preferred.

  • Good understanding of aircraft maintenance practices, technical documentation, and safety procedures.

  • Ability to interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), IPC, SRM, and other approved maintenance documentation.

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced maintenance environment.

  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including night shifts.
