Roles & Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce robust governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory compliance across all project portfolios.
  • Develop and implement standardized PMO processes, methodologies, and best practices to optimize project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, reporting structures, and performance metrics for transparent stakeholder communication.
  • Manage the project intake process, including feasibility assessment, prioritization, and resource allocation to maximize strategic value.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • We are seeking an experienced Head of PMO – Governance to lead enterprise-wide project, program, and portfolio governance within a leading Islamic bank.

  • The role will be responsible for establishing PMO frameworks, driving strategic transformation initiatives, and ensuring effective portfolio oversight aligned with business objectives and Shariah governance principles.

  • The incumbent will provide executive-level reporting, monitor delivery performance, manage risks and dependencies, and drive benefits realization across the transformation portfolio.

  • The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in banking PMO, enterprise governance, and large-scale transformation programs, with strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
