Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed plumbing system designs using CAD software, translating project requirements into accurate technical drawings.
- Create comprehensive plumbing layouts, including pipe routing, fixture placement, and equipment specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.
- Produce precise isometric drawings and schematics for complex piping systems, facilitating efficient installation and maintenance.
- Coordinate plumbing designs with other disciplines such as architectural, structural, and mechanical, to prevent clashes and ensure project integration.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess an Associate's Degree or relevant certification in CAD, Mechanical Design, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of hands-on experience in plumbing design and drafting using AutoCAD MEP or similar CAD software.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of plumbing codes (e.g., IPC, UPC) and industry best practices.
- Proficient in performing hydraulic calculations and system design for water, waste, and vent systems.
