We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our Petrochemical Operations & Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, calibration, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of field instrumentation and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of field instrumentation in petrochemical processing facilities.
Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, test, and commission pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments.
Carry out loop checking, functional testing, instrument loop verification, and commissioning activities.
Inspect, calibrate, repair, and maintain control valves, actuators, positioners, solenoid valves, I/P converters, gauges, switches, and transmitters.
Troubleshoot pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic, and smart instrumentation to minimize plant downtime.
Support PLC, DCS, ESD, and SCADA systems during maintenance and shutdown activities.
Calibrate and maintain analytical instruments, including pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), chlorine, and gas detection systems where applicable.
Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument datasheets, and technical drawings.
Use calibration equipment such as HART Communicator, Fluke Calibrators, Druck Pressure Calibrators, Dead Weight Testers, and AMS Trex.
Maintain calibration certificates, maintenance records, inspection reports, and work documentation.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit-to-work procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and hazardous area requirements.
Participate in plant shutdowns, turnarounds, commissioning, and emergency maintenance activities.
