Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Quantity Surveying team across multiple construction projects.

  • Oversee project cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

  • Review and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and tender documentation.

  • Manage interim payment applications, client billing, and final account submissions.

  • Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate contracts, and certify subcontractor payments.

  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders (VOs), claims, and contractual correspondence.

  • Ensure compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and company procedures.

  • Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve commercial performance.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Planning, Finance, Consultants, and Clients.

  • Review project progress and provide commercial advice to the project team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 12–15 years of UAE/GCC experience in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QS Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor.

  • Experience in Residential, Commercial, High-Rise, and Villa construction projects.

  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, cost control, and commercial management.

  • Proven experience in BOQs, quantity take-offs, budgeting, variation claims, and final account settlements.
