Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Senior Storekeeper manages warehouse activities, tracks raw aluminum and finished goods, ensures safety compliance, and leads a team of storekeepers to maintain optimal stock levels for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Track raw aluminum billets, coils, extrusions, dies, and spare parts.

• Stock Control: Maintain accurate records using ERP software like SAP or Oracle.

• Material Handling: Oversee safe operation of forklifts and overhead cranes for heavy loads.

• Quality Inspection: Inspect incoming raw materials for correct grade, thickness, and dimensions.

• Production Support: Issue materials to casting, extrusion, or powder coating departments on time.

• Safety & Compliance: Enforce 5S methodologies and strict metal warehouse safety standards.

• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule junior warehouse staff and loaders.

• Scrap Management: Monitor and record aluminum scrap and dross for recycling processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years n aluminum manufacturing.

• Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree or supply chain certification preferred.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory software, and MS Excel.

• Certifications: Forklift operating license and overhead crane certification are highly valued.

• Physical Ability: Capacity to lift heavy items and work in hot manufacturing environments.

• Competencies: Strong leadership, sharp eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills
