Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of all joinery materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain an efficient inventory management system, utilizing software for real-time tracking of stock levels, movement, and reorder points.
  • Lead a team of storekeepers, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure optimal team productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and audits to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize losses.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a storekeeping or warehouse role, with a significant portion focused on joinery or related materials.
  • Proven experience in inventory management systems, including proficiency with stock control software and ERP systems.
  • Possession of a relevant certification in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management is highly advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of joinery materials, their properties, and appropriate storage requirements to prevent damage and maintain quality.
