Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure all pipeline welding activities strictly adhere to project specifications, international codes (e.g., API 1104, ASME IX), and client requirements.
Should have good experience in Cross Country Pipeline Projects - Its Must
Conduct thorough visual inspections of weld preparations, joint fit-ups, and completed welds to identify any defects.
Oversee and verify non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, including radiography (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT), ensuring compliance with standards.
Review and approve welding procedures (WPS) and welder performance qualifications (WPQ) to confirm they meet project and code requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Should have good experience in Cross Country Pipeline Projects - Its Must
Gulf experience must
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; technical diplomas are also considered.
Hold recognized welding inspection certifications such as CSWIP 1, AWS CWI, or equivalent.
Demonstrate a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience as a QC Welding Inspector, specifically within the oil & gas pipeline sector
