Roles & Responsibilities

  • Receive work assignments and job cards from the Supervisor and ensure a clear understanding of the required work before commencing.

  • Diagnose Vehicle A/C faults and carry out repairs within the allocated timeline while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

  • Identify and report any additional defects, repair requirements, or non-conformities to the Supervisor and ensure all findings are documented on the job card.

  • Notify the Supervisor of any spare parts, materials, or consumables required to complete the assigned work.

  • Refer to technical manuals, engineering drawings, repair procedures, and manufacturer documentation to ensure repairs and installations are performed correctly.

  • Ensure repaired vehicles  systems are properly tested, and functioning before vehicle handover.

  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle after completing all repair and installation activities.

  • Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and approved installation standards at all times.

  • Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (QHSEMS) policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.

  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working condition and promptly report any damaged or missing items.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager that are within the scope of the role and the employee's qualifications and competencies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Vocational training in automotive technology preferred.

  • Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic software, scan tools, and manifold gauges.
