Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring precise execution of designs and optimal material utilization.
- Translate complex 2D and 3D designs from AutoCAD into machine-readable code, troubleshooting any discrepancies.
- Perform quality control checks on cut parts, verifying dimensions and adherence to specifications using precision measuring tools.
- Select and set appropriate laser parameters (power, speed, frequency) based on material type and thickness for superior cut quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in CNC operation or CAD is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC laser cutting machinery and working with AutoCAD.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD for creating, editing, and preparing technical drawings for laser cutting.
- Demonstrated understanding of laser physics, material properties, and cutting techniques for various substrates.
