Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement, statutory compliance, and coordination with HR and Finance. Manages payroll audits and employee compensation queries.


Payroll Processing

  • Manage monthly payrolls for all employees across UAE locations.

  • Ensure accurate computation of salaries, benefits, incentives, overtime, leaves, and deductions.

  • Reconcile payroll before final payment and obtain approvals.

Compliance & Statutory Reporting

  • Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues .

  • Prepare and submit statutory returns per UAE labour and tax laws.

  • Ensure compliance with wage and employment benefit regulations.

Systems & Audits

  • Maintain payroll records in ERP/HRMS systems.

  • Handle internal and external payroll audits.

  • Liaise with IT/HRMS vendors for smooth system functioning.

Coordination & Support

  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and departments for payroll inputs, CTC changes, and budget forecasts.

  • Address employee queries on payslips, deductions, and reimbursements.

  • Manage full & final settlements for exiting employees.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate monthly payroll reports, cost summaries, headcount, and variance analysis.

  • Support year-end payroll closing, tax declarations, and Form 16 issuance.


Internal: HR, Finance & Accounts Team, IT, Employees External: Statutory Authorities, Payroll Consultants, Auditors, Software/HRMS Vendors

  • Operates within company payroll policy, legal frameworks, and statutory compliance.

  • Authorized to verify and release payroll reports for approval.

  • Escalates discrepancies or policy exceptions to senior leadership


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, HR, or related field

  • Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CPP)

  • 7–10 years payroll experience; minimum 3 years managerial role

  • 5 to 10 Mandatory experience in UAE in similar role .

  • Experience handling payroll for large workforces (1000+ employees)

  • Construction/real estate industry experience preferred

  • Proficient in HRMS/payroll software and Excel
