Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis to facilitate timely decision-making.
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting by analyzing historical data and providing insights into financial trends.
- Collaborate with auditors during annual audit processes, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations while optimizing tax liabilities.
- Maintain and update accounting systems, ensuring data integrity and the implementation of best practices.
- Lead financial analysis projects, interpreting complex data sets to identify key business drivers and opportunities for growth.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in accounting regulations, proactively adapting practices as necessary.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Mater's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years Experience in Health Care Industry.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory for credibility.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles within a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and recommend actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information to stakeholders.
