Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and deliver end-to-end implementations in Oracle Cloud ERP Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Budgetary Control.
Support public sector clients with complex budgeting, encumbrance, and fund control configurations.
Facilitate requirement workshops, gather business needs, and document functional requirements.
Configure and test budgetary control, encumbrance accounting, and multi-fund/multi-ledger environments.
Work with business teams on financial closing, reporting, and audit readiness.
Review and ensure proper financial integration points with SCM, HCM, and other systems.
Create and validate functional design documents, test scripts, user guides, and training materials.
Support data migration, data validation, and data quality assurance in collaboration with technical teams.
Participate in UAT, SIT, and cutover planning.
Provide functional support during go-live and post-go-live hypercare periods.
Support reporting via Oracle OTBI, and preferably Oracle FDI/FAW for analytics.
Knowledge of GRC/controls related to financial processes is a major plus.
Exposure to VBCS personalizations from a functional angle is preferred.
Ensure regulatory compliance, IPSAS, or other public-sector standards where required.
Coordinate with third-party vendors, internal teams, and integration leads on finance-related interfaces.
Knowledge of Oracle EPM Cloud modules (such as Planning, Financial Consolidation, Narrative Reporting) is highly preferred.
Desired Candidate Profile
8–10 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.
Previous hands-on experience with large transformation programs, preferably in public sector or government.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MSc is a plus).
Strong understanding of public sector budgeting, multi-fund accounting, and encumbrance models.
Working knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 Financials is a plus.
Experience in shared services finance models is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and drive results under tight deadlines.
Experience in documentation: BRD, MD50, Test Scripts, Training Material, etc.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Oracle Certification in Cloud Financials (e.g., GL, AP, AR) is a plus.
Basic SQL/reporting knowledge (e.g., SplashBI, Discoverer, BI Publisher) is a major advantage.
Experience in automation testing tools (Opkey or others) is a plus.
