Roles & Responsibilities
The Executive / Sr. Executive – Designer (Draftsman) is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed layouts for interior projects. The role involves translating design concepts into execution-ready drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring all drawings comply with project specifications, quality standards, and site requirements.
Design & Drafting
Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for marble and stone projects.
Develop AutoCAD drawings based on approved architectural and interior design concepts.
Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed joinery, and stone layout drawings.
Prepare cutting plans and material layouts to optimize material utilization and minimize wastage.
Revise drawings based on client comments, consultant feedback, and site requirements.
Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with Sales, Project Managers, Site Engineers, Production, and Factory teams to understand project requirements.
Participate in project kick-off meetings to understand technical requirements.
Clarify drawing-related queries with consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
Support the execution team with technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
Site Support
Conduct site visits and verify dimensions before preparing final drawings.
Update drawings to reflect actual site conditions and approved variations.
Resolve drawing discrepancies in coordination with the project team.
Documentation & Quality
Maintain proper drawing revision control and document management.
Ensure all issued drawings are accurate, complete, and approved before release.
Maintain digital records of project drawings and revisions.
Support preparation of as-built drawings upon project completion.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related discipline.
3–6 years of experience in drafting and design.
Experience in interiors, fit-out, construction, or architectural projects is preferred.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software is an advantage.
Strong understanding of shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Good knowledge of construction methodologies and drafting standards.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
