Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee all Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and environmental regulations from site mobilization to demobilization.
• Manage and coordinate the HDD drilling crew, including operators, technicians, and laborers, assigning tasks and providing clear direction to maintain productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure all drilling equipment, including the HDD rig, mud recycling systems, and tracking equipment, is operated and maintained safely and effectively according to manufacturer specifications.
• Implement and enforce strict safety procedures, conducting daily toolbox talks, site inspections, and hazard assessments to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED; a Technical Diploma in a related field is advantageous.
• Hold a valid HDD Operator certification or equivalent industry-recognized qualification.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Horizontal Directional Drilling operations.
• Have proven experience in managing and leading field crews in demanding construction environments.
