Akhom Consulting is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to acquire new clients across the hospitality, travel and tourism sectors.
This is a hands-on, target-driven “hunter” role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospects, approaching decision-makers, creating opportunities and converting qualified leads into signed, revenue-generating clients. The role is focused primarily on winning new business rather than managing existing accounts.
Requirements
Identify and target hotels, resorts, tourism boards, destination management companies, travel businesses, hospitality investors and other relevant organisations.
Build and maintain a structured pipeline of qualified prospects across Akhom Consulting’s target markets.
Research potential clients, their commercial challenges, market-entry needs and decision-makers.
Conduct outbound prospecting through telephone calls, personalised emails, referrals, industry databases, events and direct outreach.
Secure introductory meetings with senior decision-makers, including owners, general managers, commercial directors and sales and marketing leaders.
Present Akhom Consulting’s services, including:
Understand prospective clients’ requirements and recommend the most appropriate service or commercial solution.
Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and commercial offers in coordination with management.
Manage the complete sales cycle from prospect identification and qualification through negotiation and contract signing.
Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain momentum throughout the decision-making process.
Negotiate commercial terms within the pricing and approval parameters established by management.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, opportunities, proposals and expected revenue in the company’s CRM.
Develop relationships with industry partners and referral sources that can generate new opportunities.
Represent Akhom Consulting at relevant exhibitions, conferences, networking events and client meetings.
Monitor market developments, competitor activities and emerging commercial opportunities.
Provide weekly pipeline reports and monthly business development performance updates.
Support the onboarding and handover of newly signed clients to the appropriate delivery team.
