Roles & Responsibilities
The Government Relations Typist will be responsible for preparing, typing, and submitting all official documentation required by UAE government authorities (such as MOHRE, Immigration, DHA, ICP). The role ensures accuracy, compliance with UAE laws, and timely processing of company and employee-related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, type, and process applications for visas, labor permits, Emirates ID, and other government forms.
Submit and follow up on applications with government portals (e.g., Tasheel, Amer, Dubai Trade, etc.).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE labor law, immigration rules, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of all submitted documents and approvals.
Liaise with PROs and HR to ensure smooth and timely processing of employee-related transactions.
Draft official letters and Arabic/English correspondence for government bodies when required.
Track document expiries (residence visas, labor cards, licenses) and initiate renewal processes in advance.
Handle typing tasks for trade license renewals, vehicle registrations, fines, and related government services.
Provide administrative support related to government relations as assigned.
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Typist or in Government Relations (UAE-based).
Proficiency in Arabic and English typing (speed and accuracy).
Familiarity with UAE government portals (Tasheel, GDRFA, Amer, DHA, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication and organizational skills.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
