• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of waste sorting team members
• Set clear performance targets and monitor achievement against KPIs (recovery rates, contamination levels, throughput)
• Implement motivational strategies including recognition programs, incentive schemes, and performance feedback
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and development opportunities
• Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that encourages continuous improvement
• Provide coaching and mentoring to develop team skills and career progression
• Experience in Waste Sorting
• Diploma or equivalent degree
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of material types including: Metals (ferrous and non-ferrous: aluminum, copper, steel)
• Plastics (PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, and other polymers) Paper & Cardboard (grades, contamination risks)
• GlassTextiles (reusable vs. non-reusable), Electronics (e-waste components and hazards),
• Organic materials (composting potential), Minimum 2 years experience.
