MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide dialysis treatment and support services to patients, including operating dialysis equipment, in line with patient safety and regulatory requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Ensure all equipment are in good working order and maintenance records are monitored to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirement and company standards
- Relevant patient records related to physical measurements, treatments, tests, and procedures are accurately documented and reported where required to ensure optimal patient treatment and safety
- Support the nursing team with the general treatment of dialysis patients
- Provide relevant educational services to patients and their families
- Support the dialysis team and department with relevant administrative duties to ensure optimal daily operations
- Provide support with collecting and quality assessments of water samples, including chemical analysis, bacterial counts and endotoxin assessments
Skills,Experience and Education
REQUIRED EDUCATION
A Bachelor's degree in Dialysis Technology or an equivalent diploma with a minimum course duration of 3 years in Dialysis Technology
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years' experience post qualification in a related field
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
