• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders, meticulously verifying details before submission.
• Maintain and update supplier databases, including contact information, pricing agreements, and performance records.
• Track order fulfillment and delivery schedules, proactively addressing any delays or discrepancies to ensure timely procurement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Procurement Assistant, or in a similar administrative role within a purchasing department.

• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for efficient transaction management.

• Strong understanding of procurement principles, negotiation tactics, and supplier relationship management.
