Position Technician – ELV / AV / Building Automation Location Dubai, UAEEmployment Type Full-Time
About the Role ME Integra is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV, Audio Visual, Building Automation, and Smart Home systems while ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Install, terminate, test, and commission ELV systems. Install and configure Audio Visual (AV) equipment, including displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems. Install and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS). Carry out installation and troubleshooting of Smart Home Automation systems. Perform installation and maintenance of HVAC controls, lighting control systems, and other automation solutions. Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Conduct testing, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion. Maintain proper documentation of work completed and report site progress. Ensure all work complies with company quality standards and safety regulations. Attend client sites for service, maintenance, and technical support when required. Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in ELV, AV, Building Automation, or related systems. Hands-on experience with:ELV Systems Audio Visual (AV) Systems Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS) HVAC Controls Lighting Control Systems Smart Home Automation Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and site coordination abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. UAE driving license is an added advantage. Preferred Skills Knowledge of KNX, BACnet, Modbus, DALI, or similar automation protocols. Experience with system commissioning and programming support.
