Own and manage the General Ledger (GL), Chart of Accounts, and financial accounting processes.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations across multiple entities.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax requirements, and company accounting policies.
Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting, including capitalization and depreciation.
Act as the primary contact for external auditors and support audit activities.
Oversee ERP General Ledger functionality (Oracle Fusion preferred) and drive process improvements.
Implement financial controls, automation initiatives, and accounting best practices.
Lead and develop the GL accounting team while ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong governance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's Degree preferred.
Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and financial controls.
Proven experience managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, including inventory, fixed assets, revenue recognition, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
Experience in multi-entity environments, including intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and audit requirements.
Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax and regulatory compliance requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams.
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across finance and operational functions.
