Overall objectives
Drive strategic governance, performance reporting, and portfolio assurance across banking projects by applying deep PMO expertise, stakeholder engagement, and process excellence.
Enhance visibility, resource utilization, and delivery integrity through structured planning, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.
The role also includes the portfolio governance of all the programs across the CTTO organization, setting up standards, quality checks, budget management, consolidated reporting and publishing dashboards.
Bring efficiencies in the processes to enable IT stakeholders to focus on their core delivery while maintaining a high quality standard.
Core competencies required
7+ years of progressive experience in PMO functions, preferably within the banking industry.
Strong understanding of banking business lines, KPI reporting, and performance management. Deep expertise in PMO processes and industry best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration.
Strong analytics skills to identify and report on potential issues.
Familiar with project management methodologies, including Agile delivery.
Working knowledge of PMO tools such as MSP, Clarity, Jira, and Confluence.
PMP or Agile certifications preferred.
Role specific responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive reporting on schedule, financials, KPIs, and KRIs, and track assurance metrics for closure working closely with CPMO.
Conduct portfolio health checks and assurance reviews, develop audit plans, and align with IT risk management to mitigate gaps.
Drive process improvement and automation using PMO tools (e.g., MSP, Clarity, Jira, Confluence), and facilitate onboarding and training.
Oversee administrative support for PR/PO processing, workforce onboarding/offboarding, and timesheet reporting.
General functional responsibilities
Business and relevant organizational stakeholder management.
Planning and monitoring the budget related activities.
Enhance change readiness and adoptions.
Support execution of strategic & strategic projects.
Conduct regular governance and reviews with relevant stakeholders.
Support yearly budgeting and planning based on the business strategy.
Conduct regular check on the health of the overall portfolio.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: 7+ years PMO (banking preferred)
Must have criteria: Hands on, demonstrable expertise in Clarity (Broadcom) PPM across demand, project lifecycle, financials, resource planning, and timesheets; ensure data quality and compliance.
KPIs: On time reporting; Clarity data quality (completeness/accuracy/timeliness) and timesheet compliance; closure rate of assurance findings; stakeholder satisfaction.
