Prepare daily meals for crew members according to planned menus.
Handle breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as required.
Plan menus and prepare meals considering crew requirements.
Maintain proper food storage and ensure freshness of ingredients.
Monitor food stocks and inform the concerned person about replenishment requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the galley, kitchen, utensils, and equipment.
Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
Properly manage food waste and maintain a clean working environment.
Ensure safe handling, preparation, cooking, and serving of food.
Coordinate with the vessel/galley team regarding meal requirements.
Maintain proper records of food supplies and inventory when required.
Follow all vessel safety procedures and offshore/marine regulations.
Be prepared to work extended shifts and rotational schedules onboard.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience as a Marine Cook / Ship Cook / Offshore Cook / Camp Cook.
Experience working onboard vessels or offshore facilities is preferred.
Knowledge of international and local cuisine.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
Ability to prepare meals for a large number of crew members.
Physically fit and able to work in a marine/offshore environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must have valid STCW certificate
