The Draftsman will prepare detailed technical drawings and layouts for customized glass works and window film installations, using CAD or similar design software. Responsibilities include interpreting project specifications, taking accurate measurements, and coordinating with project managers, installers, and clients to ensure drawings meet design, safety, and quality requirements. The role involves revising drawings based on feedback, maintaining organized documentation, and supporting the production and installation teams with clear technical information. The Draftsman will also help identify potential design issues and propose practical solutions that align with project timelines and standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong technical drawing and drafting skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Auto CAD) and the ability to produce accurate 2D/3D drawings. Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural plans, taking precise measurements, and applying industry standards for glass works and window films. Candidates should possess skills in quality checking drawings, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of construction or fabrication processes related to glass installations. Candidates should possess organizational and documentation skills, including version control of drawings and clear record-keeping for project files. Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, engineers, project managers, and installation teams. Relevant technical diploma or degree in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience as a Draftsman in construction, glass works, or interior fit-out is an advantage.
