Role Description The Company Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for safely transporting staff, supplies, and goods to and from BAT Ice cream trading and designated locations. Day-to-day tasks include operating company vehicles, following assigned routes and schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of materials needed for restaurant operations. The role involves conducting routine vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness and basic care of the vehicle, and reporting any mechanical issues or incidents. The Company Driver must comply with local traffic laws, follow internal safety procedures, and maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel usage. Collaboration with the restaurant management and operations team is essential to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and other transportation needs. Qualifications Valid UAE driving license appropriate for the vehicle type, with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a company driver, delivery driver, or similar role in Dubai or the wider UAE. Strong knowledge of Dubai roads, routes, and traffic regulations, with the ability to plan efficient trips. Ability to perform basic vehicle checks (e.g., fuel, tire pressure, lights) and report maintenance needs promptly. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and coordinate with the restaurant operations team. High level of reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct, with a focus on safety and care for company property. Physical ability to load, unload, and handle packages or supplies as needed for restaurant operations. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Previous experience in the hospitality or food service sector is an advantage.
