Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor the Project Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
Ensure compliance with UAE environmental regulations and client environmental requirements.
Conduct routine environmental inspections and site audits.
Monitor air quality, dust, noise, wastewater, and waste management activities.
Ensure proper segregation, storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Monitor fuel, oil, and chemical storage areas to prevent spills and environmental contamination.
Investigate environmental incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain environmental records, inspection reports, waste manifests, permits, and monitoring logs.
Coordinate with HSE, construction, QA/QC, and project teams to ensure environmental compliance.
Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox talks for site personnel.
Assist during client, consultant, and regulatory environmental audits.
Monitor compliance with erosion control, sediment control, dust suppression, and pollution prevention measures.
Support sustainability initiatives and recommend environmental improvements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly environmental reports for management and clients. These responsibilities align with common UAE construction and EPC environmental engineering practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of environmental experience in construction projects.
UAE construction project experience preferred.
