Develop innovative and functional landscape designs based on client requirements, site conditions, and project objectives.
Conduct regular site visits and site assessments to understand existing conditions, measurements, levels, access, and project requirements.
Prepare landscape concepts, layouts, detailed drawings, planting plans, hardscape plans, and 3D visualizations using relevant design software.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of landscape projects.
Prepare and review detailed drawings, material specifications, BOQs, and other project documentation as required.
Select appropriate plants, trees, hardscape materials, irrigation systems, lighting, outdoor furniture, and other landscape elements according to the project requirements.
Coordinate with the execution team to ensure that landscaping works are carried out according to approved designs, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Make regular site visits during the execution stage to monitor progress, resolve design-related issues, and provide technical guidance to the site team.
Check site measurements, levels, setting out, material installation, planting, irrigation, hardscape, and other landscape works for accuracy and compliance with the approved design.
Liaise with clients and project teams to understand changes, obtain approvals, and incorporate necessary design modifications during execution.
Monitor project progress from initial site visit and design development through execution, finishing, snagging, and final handover.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely availability of plants, materials, equipment, and other landscape requirements.
Identify and resolve site-related challenges, technical issues, and design discrepancies in coordination with the relevant teams.
Conduct quality inspections and ensure that completed landscape works meet the required design, workmanship, and project standards.
Prepare and follow up on snag lists, ensuring all outstanding works are completed before project handover.
Assist in final inspections, client walkthroughs, rectification works, and project completion and handover.
Maintain proper project records, drawings, site reports, progress updates, and other relevant documentation.
Ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed time, quality, and budget requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution, with a focus on sustainable design preferred.
Licensed Architect with relevant board certifications, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ethics.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, with a proven portfolio showcasing diverse project types.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, such as Revit or ArchiCAD, is essential for modern design workflows.
