Role Description The Plumber is a full-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, with primary on-site work at client locations and limited work from home for planning, documentation, and coordination tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, valves, and fittings in residential and commercial buildings. The role involves diagnosing leaks and blockages, testing system performance, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with local regulations and safety standards. The Plumber will interpret technical drawings, prepare material lists, coordinate with site supervisors and other trades, and keep accurate records of work completed. Providing clear updates to clients, maintaining a clean work area, and responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner are essential aspects of this role. Qualifications Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures. Experience working with pipes, valves, fittings, and related materials, with the ability to read and follow technical drawings. Proven maintenance and repair experience, including routine maintenance and emergency repair work on building systems. Ability to perform general maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, following company and regulatory standards. Effective customer service skills, including clear communication, professional conduct, and the ability to explain issues and solutions to clients. Relevant vocational certificate or trade qualification in plumbing or building services; local licenses or approvals are an advantage. Knowledge of health and safety practices and local building and plumbing codes. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time well, and adapt to changing site conditions. Physical ability to perform manual work, including lifting, bending, working at heights, and in confined spaces as required. Previous experience in construction, facilities management, or general contracting environments in Abu Dhabi or the wider region is preferred.
