Guildhall is currently recruiting a Construction Director for a railway infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for construction delivery and site operations, leading large-scale construction teams and coordinating civil and railway-related activities to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality, and timely project execution. Key Responsibilities: ? Lead overall construction delivery across railway, civil, and infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with schedules, specifications, quality, and HSE standards. ? Manage construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. ? Monitor project progress, identify delays, technical issues, and site constraints, and implement timely corrective actions. ? Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Commercial, HSE, and Quality teams, while reviewing construction methodologies, programmes, resources, and site requirements. ? Drive site productivity, construction quality, safety performance, regulatory compliance, and timely project completion while maintaining effective communication with senior management and project stakeholders.

? 15+ years of relevant construction experience, with significant experience in major railway or infrastructure projects. ? Strong background in railway construction, civil engineering, and civil works management. ? Proven experience managing large-scale construction teams and complex project environments. ? Previous experience as a Construction Director, Project Director, Construction Manager, or equivalent senior-level position. ? Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, site management, and contractor management. ? Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex construction interfaces. ? Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. ? Experience working on major railway or infrastructure projects in the GCC/UAE is highly preferred. ? Candidates with experience on major rail systems, metro, heavy rail, or large-scale transportation infrastructure projects will be highly advantageous. ? Strong command of English is required. ? Candidates available to join at short notice will be strongly preferred.
