Organization Unit Purpose
The Collection Department at Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) is responsible for the ethical and efficient recovery of overdue Islamic finance facilities in alignment with Shari’ah principles, Central Bank of UAE regulations, and internal risk policies. The unit handling 1–180 Days Past Due (DPD) accounts focuses on early and mid-stage delinquency recovery across Personal Finance, Credit Cards, Auto Finance portfolios, with the objective of reducing flow into non-performing status while maintaining customer trust and dignity.
Job Purpose
FR Officer is responsible for managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts within early and mid-buckets. The officer will engage customers to recover overdue payments, negotiate Shari’ah-compliant solutions, and prevent accounts from escalating into legal or write-off stages. The role demands firm but empathetic communication, efficient follow-ups, and compliance with Islamic finance ethics and recovery protocols.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively manage delinquent accounts in the 1–180 DPD range for Personal Finance, Credit Cards, Vehicle Finance (Ijarah/Murabaha) facilities.
Initiate timely follow-ups through phone calls, emails, SMS, and visits to engage with customers and collect outstanding dues.
Negotiate amicable settlements and restructuring solutions in accordance with Shari’ah-compliant financing principles.
Educate customers on payment responsibilities, consequences of continued default, and support options available under Islamic banking.
Identify early warning signs of default and take preventive action to avoid account deterioration to higher DPD or NPF buckets.
Collaborate with Assistant Managers and Legal/Field teams for escalations and recoveries requiring special handling.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation in the collection system, including interaction logs and promises to pay.
Maintain daily productivity targets (calls, visits, collection ratio) and adhere to bank’s recovery KPIs.
Work with empathy, respect, and professionalism, ensuring no breach of customer dignity or Islamic banking ethics.
- Ensure all recovery actions comply with UAE Central Bank regulations, Shari’ah guidelines, and internal policies.
What You'll Need:
- 2–4 years of experience in collections or recovery.
- Familiarity with Islamic finance products (Murabaha, Ijarah, Tawarruq) and UAE legal recovery framework.
- Strong understanding of collections lifecycle and customer behavior patterns.
- Ability to handle sensitive customer conversations tactfully and respectfully.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Multilingual preferred – English required, Arabic, Hindi.

الغرض من الوظيفة
المسؤول عن الإصلاح المالي مسؤول عن إدارة محفظة من الحسابات المتأخرة ضمن نطاق مبكر ومتوسط التأخير. سيقوم الموظف بالتواصل مع العملاء لاسترداد المدفوعات المتأخرة، والتفاوض على حلول متوافقة مع الشريعة، ومنع تصاعد الحسابات إلى مراحل قانونية أو شطبها. تتطلب هذه الوظيفة اتصالات حازمة مع礼بة وبالوقت، ومتابعات فعالة، والامتثال لأخلاقيات التمويل الإسلامي وبروتوكولات الاسترداد.
مسؤوليات الوظيفة
إدارة الحسابات المتأخرة بنطاق 1–180 يومًا خلال التمويل الشخصي وبطاقات الائتمان وتمويل المركبات (إيجار/مرابحة) بشكل استباقي.
بدء المتابعات في الوقت المناسب عبر المكالمات الهاتفية، الرسائل الإلكترونية، الرسائل النصية، وزيارات للتفاعل مع العملاء وجمع المستحقات المتأخرة.
التفاوض على تسويات ودية وإعادة الهيكلة وفق مبادئ التمويل المتوافقة مع الشريعة.
تثقيف العملاء حول مسؤوليات الدفع، وعواقب التخلف المستمر، وخيارات الدعم المتاحة بموجب المصرفية الإسلامية.
تحديد إشارات الإنذار المبكر لالتزام وخذ إجراء وقائي لتجنب تدهور الحساب إلى دفعات DPD أعلى أو إلى NPF.
التعاون مع مساعدي المدراء والفِرق القانونية/الميدانية للتصعيد والاسترداد الذي يتطلب معالجة خاصة.
ضمان التوثيق الدقيق والمحدث في نظام التحصيل، بما في ذلك سجلات التفاعل والوعود بالدفع.
الحفاظ على أهداف الإنتاجية اليومية (المكالمات، الزيارات، نسبة الجمع) والالتزام بمؤشرات الأداء لاسترداد البنك.
العمل بتعاطف، واحترام، واحترافية، مع ضمان عدم المساس بكرامة العميل أو أخلاقيات المصرفية الإسلامية.
- التأكد من امتثال جميع إجراءات الاسترداد للوائح بنك الإمارات المركزي، وإرشادات الشريعة، والسياسات الداخلية.
ما ستحتاجه:
- خبرة 2–4 سنوات في التحصيل أو الاسترداد.
- الإلمام بمنتجات التمويل الإسلامي (مرابحة، إجازة/إيجار) وإطار الاسترداد القانوني في الإمارات.
- فهم قوي لدورة التحصيل وأنماط سلوك العملاء.
- القدرة على إجراء محادثات حساسة مع العملاء بشكل لبق ومهذب.
- درجة البكالوريوس

ENBD
