Job Details

  • Supervise and monitor day-to-day terminal, jetty, and process plant operations including vessel loading/unloading, pipeline transfers, inter-tank transfers, truck loading, and utility operations.

  • Coordinate with surveyors to ensure accurate product quality and quantity for all inbound and outbound movements.

  • Liaise with port authorities, vessel agents, and loading masters to ensure smooth marine and jetty operations.

  • Prepare and submit required documentation such as NOC, PLDA, and other operational clearances.

  • Oversee Cargo Control Room operations, ensuring effective coordination with field, jetty, and utility operators.

  • Monitor and operate systems including SCADA and Tank Farm Management System (TFMS).

  • Ensure safe and efficient process plant operations, maintaining log sheets and operating within SOP parameters.

  • Issue and control permit-to-work systems for internal teams and contractors in compliance with safety standards.

  • Coordinate with logistics, marketing, customers, and contractors for smooth execution of operational activities.

  • Prepare and maintain reports including daily, monthly, bulk, utility, and fuel consumption reports.

  • Monitor shift activities, identify abnormalities, and report to management with corrective actions.

  • Manage team scheduling including shift planning, attendance, overtime, and leave management.

  • Maintain operational records, documentation, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE policies, promoting a strong safety culture and participating in emergency response activities.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Chemical / Petroleum) or relevant discipline.

  • Minimum [5–10] years of experience in oil & gas / petrochemical terminal or tank farm operations.

  • Strong knowledge of marine operations, process plant handling, and terminal activities.

  • Hands-on experience with SCADA / TFMS systems and permit-to-work procedures.

  • Good understanding of HSE standards, safety practices, and regulatory compliance.

  • Certification in First Aid and Firefighting preferred (NEBOSH or equivalent is an advantage).

  • Ability to work in shift-based operations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

  • High level of responsibility, adaptability, and conflict resolution skills.
