• Design and execute comprehensive performance test strategies and plans to identify bottlenecks and ensure scalability.
• Develop realistic load, stress, and soak test scenarios that mimic production user behavior and traffic patterns.
• Analyze performance test results, pinpointing root causes of performance degradations and providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to tune application performance and resolve identified issues.

• Required Skills *

  • Strong expertise in Performance Testing, Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, and Capacity Planning.

  • Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or similar performance engineering tools.

  • Strong experience testing REST APIs, Microservices, Mobile Applications, and Web Applications.

  • Experience designing test workloads based on TPS, concurrency, user journeys, and volumetric requirements.

  • Strong understanding of API performance, database performance, JVM tuning, connection pooling, caching, and distributed systems.

  • Knowledge of API Gateways such as Kong Azure APIM.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Dynatrace or Azure Monitor.

  • Strong SQL and database performance analysis skills.

  Required Experience / Knowledge Areas *

  • 5+ years of experience in Performance Engineering and Non-Functional Testing.

  • Experience testing high-volume banking, payment, digital onboarding, lending, corporate banking, or financial services platforms.

  • Experience validating enterprise APIs and microservices handling hundreds to thousands of TPS.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures deployed on Azure and AWS.

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, and containerized environments.

  • Understanding of banking SLAs, service resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability requirements.

  • Experience participating in release readiness, CAB approvals, and production go-live assessments.
